A high bandwidth limit, combined with a custom-built server make this plan unique for every customer. Our experienced network technicians and system administrators will help you get the server going, and update the software as new releases and patches become available.

The server will be only one network hop away from a Tier 1 national carrier.

24/7 network troubleshooting and hardware support is provided with this plan.

The following features are part of this plan.

• Burstable Bandwidth
  Your server will be given an average maximum transfer rate of 6 Mb/s and can be burstable to 100 Mb/s if necessary. The traffic shaping pattern will be negotiated prior to service start.
• 1000 GB Monthly Transfer Limit
  Your maxiumum monthly transfer is 1 TB. If you go over that limit, we can provide additional bandwidth of up to another 250 GB for $49.95 in that billing month.
• Custom Built and Configured Server
  We will design, build and configure a custom server for your needs. Generally, you can expect a serial ATA RAID hard drive system with a least two 120 GB drives, current processor technology, 2 GB of RAM, Apache Web server with MySQL. We recommend the FreeBSD operating system.
• Hardware Support
  In case of hardware malfunction, govital will repair and/or replace equipment when necessary at no additional charge or incident fee.
• Daily Backups
  Your data will be copied to our backup server daily, and archived to tape or DVD-ROM weekly.
• Software and Operating System Fixes
  Experienced technicians at govital will configure and periodically update the server software and operating system on the server.
• Customized Traffic Shaping
  Experienced system administrators at govital will shape traffic or throttle individual connections as necessary to ensure that you can deliver a steady quality of service to all of your Internet clients.

• A UPS system will be installed to protect your equipment from power outages.
• The network services are monitored 24/7, but technical support on this plan is only provided during regular business hours. You will be provided with an after-hours telephone number to call a network technician directly with your emergency issues.
